REGISTRARS IN PSYCHIATRY
Positions are now available for a period of 6-12 months commencing in July 2018
These posts will be in the areas of Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services within community settings. These posts are an ideal opportunity if you are interested in entering or enhancing a career in this area of psychiatry and expanding your experience by working in a top class clinical and academic environment. You will be well supported by multidisciplinary colleagues. Lucena Clinic is a teaching centre for UCDI and SHO’s/Registrars will have the opportunity to teach with successful applicants being expected to participate fully in the active teaching programme and also expected to participate in clinical audit whilst being supported to carry out original research as well as gaining postgraduate examinations and higher degrees.
A degree in medicine is a basic requirement. All applicants must be currently registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC). Candidates must also ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria with regard to immigration status, English language skills and the minimum educational entry criteria for the specialty and level as set out in the specification. A Garda vetting process will be carried out on successful candidates.
